Who We Are
Welcome to Compassionate Home Care! I am Kate. As a quadriplegic, I have experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows that our healthcare system offers. After witnessing so much of the “ugly” that exists throughout different institutions, I began dreaming of a better way to receive and provide care. I started to ask the questions “What would it feel like to be fully cared for?” and “How do we make it work for all parties involved?.” Welcome to the collaborative creation of the new Compassionate Home Care (CHC).
I have always wanted to cultivate a warm environment where a client can live a life of the highest quality while employees and caregivers feel equally honored and cared for. CHC was founded on the belief that the culture of healthcare is more efficient and sustainable when every party involved has a focus on well-being with a foundation of love and understanding that we are all human; this makes us all equal. When we feel individually supported, we can contribute more to the world around us.
